Vintage Tours launches the 2026 season

Vintage Tours is pleased to announce the launch of its new 2026 season. This year's programme will once again focus on exclusive, guided classic car tours through some of Portugal's most beautiful and authentic regions.

The 2026 season begins in the first half of the year with selected tours through the Alentejo. This will be followed by tours through the world-famous Douro Valley and the green North of Portugal. Further tours in the North of Portugal, the Douro Valley and the Alentejo are planned for the second half of 2026. Also new to the 2026 programme for the first time are exclusive routes through the Centre of Portugal, including a visit to the renowned automobile museum in Caramulo, a highlight of Portuguese automotive culture.

Due to the favourable climatic conditions in Portugal, Vintage Tours can offer its guided classic car tours from the beginning of March to mid-November - a period in which classic car experiences are only possible to a limited extent or not at all in many other European countries due to the weather and temperatures. Mild temperatures, little rainfall and a high number of sunny days create ideal conditions for relaxed, enjoyable travelling in classic cars across almost three seasons.

In parallel with the expansion of its touring programme, Vintage Tours has also further expanded its own fleet of MGA Roadsters. In the new year, another MGA Roadster in perfect condition will be added to the fleet. This rounds off the existing fleet and offers Vintage Tours guests a driving experience of the highest level.

In order to fulfil its own claim of offering its guests not only exceptional driving experiences, but also first-class gastronomy and hotels, Vintage Tours has further intensified its partnerships with leading hotels and selected establishments in the respective regions. The aim is to provide participants with experiences that meet the highest standards of quality and enjoyment.

Sustainability will remain a central element of Vintage Tours's corporate philosophy in 2026. As in the 2025 season, Vintage Tours will fully offset the CO₂ emissions of its vehicles. In cooperation with the non-profit organisation myreforest, reforestation projects will be supported - not only for the company's own vehicles, but also for the vehicles of participants who take part in the tours with their own classic cars. For Vintage Tours, sustainability is not a buzzword, but a lived practice.

Since 2025, Vintage Tours has been a member of the regional tourism organisations Centro de Portugal and the Porto and North of Portugal Convention & Visitors Bureau. These memberships emphasise Vintage Tours's commitment to developing high-quality travel experiences in line with the strategic objectives of these regions. They also symbolise the company's consistent focus on quality, authenticity and sustainable tourism. The close cooperation with the regional organisations is an important guarantee for Vintage Tours that Portugal can be experienced responsibly, exclusively and with a deep regional understanding.
